My non-imm B visa expired end of May (not extension, initial 90 days stamp). The border of my country is closed for all, I can get a letter from the embassy stating this.
Will I be able to get extension based on this before the amnesty ends?
If yes, are they stamping from the day that I visit immigration? So it's better to go there closer to the end of this month?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking advice about extending their expired Non-Imm B visa due to their home country's border closure amid COVID-19. They are wondering if a letter from their embassy will help in getting an extension before the amnesty ends and if the extension will be backdated to their visit date.
contact your consulate here to see if they are even issuing the "unable to travel due to covid-19" letters. Many consulates already came out and said they are NOT issuing the letters at this time
I don't necessarily need another 90 days. I was referring to the under consideration stamp (I think that's what it was called). The extension 14+14 or 30 days people got with their embassy letters before the amnesty started.
I never got it. When my visa expired, the amnesty was in place already. So I was wondering if I can get that extension if the amnesty is not extended after 31 July.
