What should I do if my visa application is missing documents or has discrepancies?

ORIGINAL POSTER
I received this request on my DTS application. I am a bit confused as I uploaded a year's worth of bank statements showing incoming paychecks, 500k THB in savings and the account number. The only potential issues I see is that my name is slightly cut off due to length on the statement, and the name of the company paying me is not the same as the name of the company on the contract. Has anyone had any luck calling or emailing the consulate for feedback on what they want here?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is confused about a request received related to their DTS visa application, particularly regarding the adequacy of submitted bank statements. They mention potential discrepancies, such as their name being partially cut off and differences in company names between their paycheck and contract. Community responses provide various strategies, including merging documents into one PDF, providing a cover letter to explain discrepancies, ensuring recent bank statements are included, and highlighting relevant details on submitted documents. Overall, they suggest direct communication with the consulate for clarification.

Address the issues you mentioned, plus they likely want to see an up to date statement showing that the 500k is still there.

Did you merge all your bank docs into one pdf?

Cover letter to explain and point out those transaction. And why is it not that company paying you - should be highlighted too.

They only want to see three months worth, and you definitely need to have the account name, number, and relevant amounts fully legible.

only thing I can think to recommend is circling the requested data—name and account number—on the PDFs (or whatever format you're using).
