What should I do if the consulate asks for my bank statements and other documents again for my Thai visa application?
So.. first time they asked for 3 month bank statement, employment certificate, and resume. I submitted all of those with an cover letter explaining all the docs.
Now second time, they ask for 3 month bank statement again? Any idea what to do? I submitted statements from the past 3 months and a Balance statement from a few days ago of over 15k… do I submit the same thing again?
For booking record, do I send a hotel booking record of a future stay in thailand? Or in the country I applied in?
For the certificate of income issued by national tax service, do you think 2023 tax return for IRS is okay? I started a new company and got seed investment mid 2024 so this seems pretty tricky.

So I'm getting my financial statement rejected also. Does the money need to be in the account all 3 months? I just transferred it in from a business account

Update: it was approved in HCMC Vietnam once I provided export of my transactions showing the funds were transferred in. I did a to date bank statement for both my personal showing it arrived and gave bank statements from my business showing where it came from , plus screenshots from the web app highlighting the transaction and date. Of course a nice letter informing them it would stay in this account forever

All of the documents they ask are pretty common, I think everybody needs to upload them. Make sure all is in English, upload any official tax document for last year, payslips, hotel confirmation, lease agreement from Thailand, all of your passports photo, letter from company where you are working, your CV/portfolio, bank statements in English, of you have your own company all of the company registration documents in English+ letter from your company to you + company portfolio.

no not everyone has to upload all of this stuff. its very embassy specific. i provided: work contract, financial proof (bank account overview, not even a statement), location proof… got asked for certificate of employment and provided that. easy process, took me 10mins to apply. approval in 5 business days (germany). no payslips / income proof, no accomodation proof, no tax proof, no additional photosAnonymous *************

OPThat makes sense. It's pretty strange to ask for hotel confirmation before DTV approval though as how do they expect me to sign a lease / book a hotel if I don't even know if I'm getting approved?
I also find it strange that they're asking for certain things twice even though I've already provided bank statements.

I don’t know why anyone would do elite right now but I guess whatever someone wants to do but even if you pay 1000 usd it’s 200 a year to come anytime and go anytime seems more then fairDavid ********

For September: no, October: yes, November: yes. And I included another "Balance Statement" generated from my bank on Dec 20th showing over $17k.John *******

Anonymous participant I read their message as they want to see the required amount on the statement for each month (which isn’t the norm for many embassies). Every document states the words “Bank Statement” and includes your full name? No buisness account, special type of accounts, etc?

OPI applied via Seoul (my mistake) but I am a UAE resident and USA citizen who is currently in Seoul. UAE doesn't provide Certificate of Income but I do have a tax return from USA last year so I will try that. I will try LA next if it's that easy. Thanks! How long did it take and how long is your botox treatment?

Anonymous participant which one are you applying from? you mention IRS so I assume USA? 3 months ago I did it via LA location and soft power, all I had to provide was 1 page of my bank balance, 1 letter of soft power (botox treatment) and approved. Thank goodness mine was easy.
