What does the "processing pending approval" status mean for my Thai eVisa application?

Hi all. In the Thai evisa website. My application is in the "processing pending approval" stage. Is that mean that all the documents are fine and nothing is missing? How long will that be in this stage usually? That's 3rd day today since my application and we are soon entering the weekend, which I suppose they will not process in the weekend.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The status "processing pending approval" indicates that your eVisa application is still under review. While it doesn't guarantee that all your documents are fine, it usually means that the review process has begun. The duration for this stage can vary significantly; some applicants report receiving requests for additional documentation within a few days, while others have experienced processing times ranging from as short as two days to as long as ten to fifteen business days, depending on the Thai embassy or consulate handling their application.

Pending approval literally means that it hasn’t been approved yet , in other words they haven’t gotten to it yet

That can vary a lot depending on where you apply.

In my case, both applications required additional documents or written clarifications.

In Penang (Malaysia), I waited 10 days, submitted the requested documents, and the application was eventually cancelled because it had been submitted while I was still in Thailand.

In Vietnam (Ho Chi Minh City), additional documents were also requested, but the application was approved after 5 working days, which seems fairly normal there.

So I’d say 5 working days is the minimum, but more time is definitely possible — it really depends on where you apply.

Normally, the processing time is 10–15 business days, depending on the Thai embassy or consulate handling your visa application.

Gift Naviya Sooksai that's the official knowledge. But in Vientiane in practice it is by far much quicker. People got approved the same day or the next day of their visa payment usually.

On day 3 or 4 I received a notification for clarification and more info as did my friend who applied the same day as I. Then a week later, she was approved and I am still waiting. Be patient. I am trying to as well

Ed Bach they start processing your application only after the payment. So you waited for nothing. You are basically applied on Wednesday same like me same day.

Ed Bach 2 days, was surprised but I did use an agent. The Embassy in Vientiane say 5-10 working days and they are closed for the Thai elections
