Can I get a 30-day extension on my visa exempt status in Phuket or should I do it in Bangkok before traveling?

First 30 day extension question.

I’m on a visa exempt 30 day which expires 2nd Jan, I have a condo in Bangkok but am going to Phuket for Xmas my question is do I get the 30 day extension in Bangkok before I go or can I do it in Phuket ?

You do it wherever a TM30 is filed. If staying in a hotel in Phuket and ask them for a screenshot of their filing one for you you can use the Phuket office.
