We will be doing DTV in Ho Chi Min, Vietnam.

Please share your experiences for following inquiries, Thanks🙏🙏

1. Does the wife have to apply together with the mail applicant to apply for a spouse visa? 

Or should she apply after the main applicant visa is approved?

2. So after, the spouse can apply while staying in Vietnam at once without re-entering Thai?

3. What are the required documents for the application of the spouse visa?

4. How many days apart do we need to buy  return ticket to complete both applications?

*IMPORTANT* Info from HCMC Embassy.

I emailed the HCMC embassy with some questions.

They emailed me back with some very important info regarding the processing time.

If you apply before Oct, it will take 2 business days.

If you apply after Oct, it seems it can take 30 days.

They are implementing a new E-visa system from Oct.

Glad I emailed.

all I know is what they have posted about the timeline. It's possible that they were not sure how long it would take to process the DTV Visa when they converted to the Evisa online application system. Best to be prepared for staying in Vietnam until the visa decision is known

As they could request ADDED documents clarification or even personal interview.
