I applied for my DTV visa before getting to Thailand, then I got my DTV while staying here as a visitor. Now I need to apply for my wife and kid.
Obviously I have to apply from outside. Is Vietnam the best option?

Hla ********
How long is the process to get DTV and how much it cost? and you apply your own or through agent?
Dependant visa is very easy and probably will be approved where-ever you go. Fastest process in Hanoi. 1-5 days depending which day you apply, approx 3-5 days if more people in the line. Child can come in 1 day. Just make sure you have english birth certificate and marriage license - if not originally in english, adding original+english version is best choice + your passport as well for extra proof. Funds the same, you can support both financially with your 500k even tho minimum 1mil is recommended for better success, but if wife has 500k on her own too, thats also good.
Why i say adding original is a good choice -- I did a dependant visa and i paid 5 euros in my home country online registry to get the english marriage license and it did not have a signature and it looked like 10 year old did the file. We also have only digital signatures in my home country so no physical ones on english statements. Then they asked to see original cause probably didnt believe the english one and i made photo of the physical original one not in english with a stamp and added some wedding photos just in case.
Hesam Davachi how long have you been in Thailand on a visitor visa? You do realize you have not activated your DTV (only done when entering the country)? You only have the amount of time in country that your original visa gave you, so make sure you don’t overstay
Hesam Davachi you do realize that your DTV Visa has not been activated.
You returned to Thailand before the DTV visa was approved.
You are VERY lucky that you were not requested for an interview with the Thai Embassy or Consulate and asked to send the Thai Embassy or Consulate a copy of EVERY PAGE of your passport.
Is your passport nation IRAN?
And your family members also from Iran?
Where did you submit your DTV Visa Application?
Did you personally submit the DTV visa Application using the Evisa online application system?
What is the date you entered Thailand?
What is the date your DTV Visa was issued,?
Where are you now in Thailand?
Where are your family members now? In Thailand?
In My opinion...Vientiane Laos may be a BETTER choice for you to obtain the DTV visa for your dependents.
