DTV Soft power Muay Thai Approved in 7 days (Hanoi Embassy)

I have been checking posts in this group for a while and honestly it’s been very helfpul so here I share my own experience πŸ₯°

Applied late on the 5th of January and approved on the 11th of Jan via Hanoi embassy.

I applied with a course from Muay Thai Fever Chaing Mai gym where they provided an amazing service with docs being ready one day after payment. I also loved training at their gym so looking forward to going back! πŸ₯Š

Submitted proof of funds aprox 3 times more than the required amount for the past 6 months in a Revolut savings account which had no movements apart from interest payments.

I used 1) airlines tickets, 2) boarding pass, 3) photo of visa stamp into Vietnam and 4) Airbnb booking confirmation as proof of current location.

As income I marked up to 20k a year. I did not submit a cover letter or any other documentation apart from what was required.

I have been to Thailand only twice on visa exemption. First time was for 15 days which was the maximum for my nationality in 2024. Second time was in 2025 for 60 days and one extension done for another 30 days.

No extra docs requested by embassy and the status changed to Pending approval on the following day after submitting it. Then on calendar day 7 (which was a Sunday) I received the approval and the e-visa. πŸ₯³

I have it printed and going to fly into Thailand tomorrow! πŸš€

I chose Muay Thai Fever gym in Chiang Mai after testing a few gyms in Bangkok as well. The price was great for a 6 months course. Super happy with how helpful the owner was, documentation was provided super fast, shared knowledge about the process and different situations. Also I personally had the best training of all the gyms I visited in Thailand.

Thank You for your helpful report πŸ‘

Congratulations πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘

PRINT OUT THE EMAIL THAT HAS YOUR DTV VISA.

That's what you should do... print it out.

You may have to show PROOF of your DTV Visa to airline staff on check-in for your flight ✈️ to Thailand...even to the connecting airline staff. Or to the land border crossing entry Thai Immigration Officer.

Upon arrival into Thailand, show the DTV visa to the Thai Immigration Officer and look at the STAMP placed in your passport to be sure you are STAMPED in for 180 days.

I did not submit any proof as it is not required during the application. They also didn’t ask me to prove it later on.
