Hi everyone, I saw a post in other group a few days ago from someone who applied for a DTV Dependent Visa in Vientiane, Laos and mentioned that they were called for an interview.

I would like to ask if there are any other DTV dependents here who were also called for an interview?

If so:

* What questions were you asked?

* What additional documents did they request you to bring?

My spouse was granted a DTV (Digital Nomad category) last year and is already the main DTV holder. I am now planning to apply separately as a DTV dependent.

For my application, I plan to submit:

* A sponsor letter from my spouse (the main DTV holder)

* My spouse’s foreign bank account (USD) as proof of funds

If the embassy asks to see the bank account on a mobile phone, the account will be under my spouse’s name, not mine and which I don’t have on my mobile. Has anyone been in a similar situation? How did you demonstrate that the funds belonged to the main DTV holder who was sponsoring you?

Also, for those who attended an interview, did you bring printed bank statements (PDFs) along with the original supporting documents?

Hi! I suggest contacting the cooking schools directly.

Depending on how their scheduling works, it may be possible for on-demand paid attendees to join the pre-paid classes.

I’ll be applying for the DTV in a few months (cooking school in Phuket, too) - and once I’m hopefully approved, will be applying for the DTV Dependent for my daughter.

I’m looking for decent recommendation for cooking schools. Where are you thinking of applying for? I’ve heard good things about Phuket Thai cooking academy. Yes we’re be putting our children as dependents too. Where are you going to be applying from? Good luck with everything! X

I never said I was wanting it for free? Of course I will pay per child per lesson but i was trying to find out if anyone with children have found a cooking school that children can go with you whilst doing the cooking course for the soft power due to no child care.

Just asking if your children can join YOUR classes is asking for free time or free baby sitting while you study
