Hi everyone 

I applied for the DTV visa in Ho Chi Minh City back on the afternoon of May 31st As of today June 8th 

my status is still showing as 'Pending Approval' with no updates or requests for additional documents.

I'm starting to feel a bit nervous about it. For those who recently applied or are currently applying for the DTV visa here, how many working days did it take for you to get approved? Is it normal to still be waiting at this point?  Thank you.

I applied for a non-b on May 20 and didn’t get approved until June 5 even though the website says processing time is 5 business days. I did email them on June 5 because my visa for Vietnam was expiring soon, and although they didn’t respond to me the visa was issued a few hours later. Give it another 5 business days, then it wouldn’t be unreasonable to email them. If it is “pending approval” instead of pending document check, then that’s a good sign that it’s probably just sitting in a queue waiting for an officer to sign off on it.
