TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is experiencing difficulties downloading files required for a 30-day extension on their visa exemption. Comments from others suggest that the online application system is problematic, recommending in-person visits to immigration instead. Some users reported similar issues, finding that certain document formats were successful while others weren't. Overall, the advice leans towards applying at the immigration office directly.

It's super glitchy and some documents have to be PDFs and some have to be JPEGs. I gave up and just went down there. It's dumb like most websites here..

You still have to go to immigration and get your passport stamped. The online extension is a joke and waste of money. Just go in person.

Had same issue. I uploaded a pdf of the photo. That worked for each option.

Why are you even wasting money on this? Just go to immigration and apply because you have to go there anyways even if you do this
if i go to there i take long time to queue,Online suppose to be quicker as i can jump the line and go to E visa extension counter .And the cost is 500 for seven days waiting 1500 for 3 days waiting instead of 1900 .But do you have an answer to my question ?

Does anybody know if the Office in Laksi will be open as of May 01 . My friend told because 01 May for government is no PH
You have a choice of paying a service fee of 500 baht, 1,500 baht or 5,000. Regardless of the choice you make you still have to pay the 1,900 baht that any and every extension costs.

Sadly even the official contracted partner for this e-extension system can’t even get their wording correct. They say “visa fee”. It’s not a visa you’re getting it’s an extension from a visa (or exempt entry).
Corect later when you apply you can chose which visa or 30 exemption you want to chose . The set up is quiet good it should save you time BUT the page should as well work which seems it’s not proper
VFS global is a government contractor. The Thai government chose them last year to process e-extensions. VFS global also does visa and passport work for the British government and India.
The 1900 baht fee is the governments fee. If you use the online service through VFS global, there's an additional fee.
VFS are the contracted “partner” for the e-extension system. Call them an agent if you will. They charge you a service fee on top of what it costs to get an extension. How quickly you want them to do the extension for you reflects in the service fee they’ll charge.
