Hello, I wanted to know if it ever happened to you, I have a DTV visa, I came back to BKK 3 days ago, filled the DTAC with my visa number, reason of visit DTV Work remote. Arriving to the officer, I gave my paper visa, he stamped my passport and I left.. but he granted me a 2 months visa exampt entry...

Actually it's ok for me as I will leave before that... But I don't know if it will be an issue to leave or to come back..

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user encountered an issue where they received a 2-month visa exemption stamp instead of the proper DTV visa stamp upon entry to Thailand. Although they plan to leave before the exemption period ends, they are concerned about potential problems with re-entry. Community responses emphasize the importance of checking passport stamps immediately after receiving them to avoid issues. They suggest that if a mistake occurs, the only way to correct it is to return to the airport to have the stamp fixed.

As long as you leave before the date then you're fine.

If you want to stay longer, you have to go back to the airport and get it fixed

Happened to me at land border. I noticed straight away (always check stamp after getting back your pp)

It took quite long to fix it, they had to call someone to cancel that visa exemption stamp, wait about 20-30 mins then they were able to correctly stamp to DTV.

Always check before leaving. Only place to fix is to go back to airport

Always check your passport because sometimes they don’t realise you’ve got the DTV Visa. They’re just stamping you in exempt.
