I just applied for a 60 day visa from the Vancouver, Canada, Embassy from Oct 2 to Nov 30th. I just got my passport back But the dates on the visa are wrong. I was issued a 90 day visa which ends Nov. 22nd. I sent my hotel booking and air ticket as required but the dates don’t make sense. I also can’t change my flight a week earlier as there are no seats.
If I send my passport back will they fix the error? Or will they make me re-apply?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user received a 90-day visa with dates that don't match their intended travel plans. They are concerned about whether sending the passport back will correct the error or require a new application. Comments affirm that the visa is valid until November 22, allowing entry for a 60-day stay with a potential extension, suggesting that they can still travel as planned.

You will be stamped for 60 days. You must visit immigration and apply for the extra 30 days. After that there's many options, just whatever you decide go early and don't wait until the last day.
When you enter Thailand you will be stamped in for 60 days plus added 30 days extension of stay is available for 1,900 Thai baht in your Thai immigration office. = 90 days stay in Thailand.
if I may add onto this thread with a question please - if my 60 day visa plus an added 30 day extension runs into January (a new calendar year), will that allow me to apply for another 30 day extension or will it be a case of packing my bags to leave?
Pretty sure if you look at the visa it says "valid until Nov 22", which means you must enter before that date, you will then be stamped in for the full
