Went for 90 days reporting.

Reached at 8am. 1st Queue no. 500. 2nd queue no. 70.

In and out within 2 hours.

I had a late 90 days reporting but I went overseas a 2nd time in between the first late reporting and now (180ish days now) I didn't get fined the 2000thb.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The post discusses a personal experience regarding the 90-day reporting process in Thailand, highlighting the timing of the visit and the lack of a fine despite being late in filing the report due to overseas travel. It also prompts a discussion in the comments about reporting requirements, experiences with fines, and the rules regarding days spent outside Thailand.

you were just plain lucky that they didn't notice you failed to file a 90 day report on time the last time before you left.

Most people get caught out on it and pay the 2000baht fine..

I'm not sure. In my previous post the members advised to prepare 2k thb for the fine.

that is not correct :/ You are confusing the window of when you can do a report with whether you get a grace period to NOT do one because you left the country.

The way it works is IF you're here on the 90th day you report, period end of story. Doesn't matter if you're leaving the next day you are obligated to report

EDIT: *Wrong*. See Tod Daniels Response below. Keeping it for historical information only.

I think you have a window of 14 days before and 7 days after that you can submit a 90 day report.

how can you be late if you've been overseas? You start counting on the day of arrival as day 1. The days you are overseas do NOT count as being inside Thailand, as it is still impossible to be on two different places at the same time.
