Yesterday i applied for the DTV. I thought it would take 10 workdays for it to be either approved or denied ( the Netherlands)
Now i read different stories that it takes more days. My flight is on the 5th of June.
Im thinking of changing my flight to a later date.
What would you suggest i should do?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user has applied for a DTV (Digital Nomad) visa in the Netherlands and is concerned about the approval time as their flight is on June 5. They have read varying opinions about the processing time, which can affect their plans. Community members suggest waiting a bit longer, considering the timeline until the flight, and potentially contacting the embassy for quick assistance. Generally, experiences shared indicate that visa approvals can happen faster than expected, with instances of approvals in a few days.
Also applied in The Netherlands, soft power muay thai approved in 2 working days. (Applied on a Sunday and approved on Tuesday.) No extra documents required, no interview.

Anonieme deelnemer 156 i did electricity bill from Vattenfal, phonebill from Odido, proof of ownership of the house and a letter from the Tax department ( belastingdienst) and ofcourse bank account and muay thai documentation. Hope this is enough.
If for whatever reason it gets denied and you donโt know why, yourvisa(.)nl can help you. I used their service as well, itโs a dutch company that helps people with visaโs in general.

I applied from the Netherlands but that was in July 2024. Got it in working 3 days. No additional docs were requested. Dunno how long it will take for you, but 2.5 weeks is long
I rather not. I was there on a ED Visa. I canceled this visa because i went on a trip to japan and shortly after i came to holland to apply for the DTV. So when i came back from japan to bangkok immigration took me separate and told me i can't come on a tourist entry anymore and i should get an DTV. Not sure if this is true but rather not go there now on a regular tourist entry ๐
