Suggest you buy a One way ticket to Vietnam... make application... then if approved fly back to Thailand. Flights ✈️ are not expensive to and from Vietnam FROM Thailand

Officially they said 10-15 working days but got mine after five working days from Hanoi. It depends on workload they have, so better buy return ticket once you’ve got visa.
