Thai Visa Question: I applied for a DTV visa with 6 weeks before my flight to Thailand. If I don’t hear back from the Thai Embassy by my flight date (which is 3 weeks away).

Is it ok to just complete the TDAC? 

Will doing so reject my application?

My stay in Thailand is 40 days. I applied for the DTV because I plan to stay 180 days in 2026.

If your visa is approved after you arrive in Thailand you'll need to reenter to activate it. Not hard, just an extra step.

You will find that your approval will probably come through closer to your flight date

TDAC is an arrival card and has nothing to do with your visa. It can only be completed within 3 days of arrival so you can’t fill it in now

I mentioned TDAC just in case I don’t hear back in time regarding my DTV visa application. I assume I will need to complete the TDAC within 72hrs of my flight to enter Thailand, right?
