What should I do after leaving Thailand without a re-entry while on a non-B visa?

I am on a non-B (workpermit), been here for over 6 years and made the stupid mistake of leaving the country without a re-entry. Yes, I know how stupid that is, no need to remind me. Any advice as to how to proceed? I am back on a tourist visa now.

TLDR : Answer Summary
An individual with a non-B visa (work permit) in Thailand shares their concern about leaving the country without a re-entry permit, now returning on a tourist visa. Community members suggest that the easiest solution would be for the employer to assist in reapplying for a new non-B visa and highlight that a visa run to locations like Vientiane may be necessary to obtain it.

From what I remember you need to do visa run to get non-B. Vientiane is the easiest.

Plus, you are on a visa exempt entry, not a tourist visa

Easiest option, get your employer to sort the paperwork, leave, get a new Non-B, start again.

thanks. This is a bit confusing to me as I read what he wants...and how to get his Non B visa once again. He speaks of trailing on hers...as her employer pays all costs.

But you can not have a work permit as a "trailer", so that would

not work for you.

no idea, her employer arranges and pays everything, not my problem. I would rather be the trailing husband :-)

On the 16 August you posted "visa run obligations" on one of your photos, that does not fit with needing a re-entry permit ?

Then get your company to do the same.
