Hi everyone ๐ I am an ESL teacher here in Thailand, Bangkok.
I'm really confused about the restrictions on travel and the status of my current visa and would love some advice in these times of chaos and distress.
I arrived from India in Bangkok with a non b Visa ( for employment) on the 11th of March. This was supposed to be converted to a work permit by the school before the first week of June (That's until when my non b is valid.) In the light of the current situation I would really like to go back home and see it through the storm with my family and friends rather than staying alone here in Thailand. I was wondering whether I can re-enter the country with the same non b Visa once the curfew is lifted or will I have to apply for a fresh visa all over again?
TLDR : Answer Summary
The user, an ESL teacher in Bangkok, inquired about their ability to re-enter Thailand with a Non-B visa after potentially returning home. They are concerned about the visa's validity and the required permits, especially in the context of travel restrictions. The community provided insights, emphasizing the need for a multiple-entry re-entry permit before leaving and confirming that they might re-enter as long as they return before their Non-B visa expires.
