Hi all. Need Thai Visa advice please. My visa type is Non O. Ek went to Laos to get my Non B to get a work permit. Before I left Thailand I applied for a re-entry permit on my Non O. When I came into the country just now, they let me in on my re-entry permit and not my Non B. Anyone could tell me what will happen now? Will I still be able to get my work permit and what will I have to do? TIA

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking advice after re-entering Thailand on a Non O visa using a re-entry permit, instead of their Non B visa intended for obtaining a work permit. Comments suggest that the current situation cannot be resolved within Thailand, and the user may need to exit and re-enter on the Non B visa to proceed with the work permit application.

You can't resolve it in country. you're going to have to go to a border WITHOUT a re-entry permit, stamp OUT on the current entry stamp which cancels it, then turn around and stamp IN on the new as yet unused Non-B visa you have in your passport.
it depends on your Non O visa, but I guess this visa is employment prohibited and that is the reason you went abroad to get a new visa. Why did you buy a re-enter permit and kept the old visa which had to be replaced alive?
Robert Lagas Because I was told everytime I want to leave the country on my Non O I will need a re-entry permit, I guess it was just stupidity on my side.. Yes Non b for employment.
