Hi, I have duale nationality. Does anyone have experience transferring guardian visa from one passport to another ? Thanks

Answer summary

A user inquired about transferring a guardian visa due to holding dual nationality. The response clarified that it is not possible to switch passport nationalities while remaining in Thailand. The correct procedure involves exiting Thailand on the current passport, which invalidates the guardian visa, then re-entering with the new passport and starting the visa application process from the beginning.

Short answer is you can't switch passport nationalities INSIDE the country.

You'd have to exit on the passport you're on, (which will stamp you OUT on this current guardian visa/extension) then enter on the new passport, and apply for the whole process (90 day Non-O, extension) all over again..

All you can do is GO talk to your immigration office BUT be prepared to be told it can't be done..
