Short answer is you can't switch passport nationalities INSIDE the country.

You'd have to exit on the passport you're on, (which will stamp you OUT on this current guardian visa/extension) then enter on the new passport, and apply for the whole process (90 day Non-O, extension) all over again..

All you can do is GO talk to your immigration office BUT be prepared to be told it can't be done..

definitely GO to your immigration office with both passports and ask them though, you're out nothing by doing that, worst they can say is nope can't do it . ...
