TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking advice on their Non-B visa application, which is currently under consideration. They plan to move to a new school and province and are uncertain about the consequences of not visiting immigration to get their visa stamped. Community responses suggest that they need to inform immigration about the change in schools and potentially cancel their application if they do not plan to work at the initially applied school. It is also advised to explore other options to maintain legal status in Thailand.

What is your current permission to stay date in your passport ?

4 Aug based on tourist visa

You applied for a new visa using a school documents. If you not going to work at that school you should inform Immigration and cancel your application.

That also means you have to find a new and other way to be legal in Thailand.

I have a new school and they will issue a papers to apply for a non b. However at the current school I have not gotten my non b as yet it is only under consideration. Nothing has officially been stamped in my passport.

You applied and your documents are taken by the Immigration Officer to be considered to give you a Non Immigrant B visa.

Go back and cancel as you do not need this visa because you are not going to work at the school who provided the documents like a contract for work.

Do not forget to cancel your application or issued work permit.

I came to thailand on a tourist vise (please note I have not worked in Thailand as yet) so the school where I am supposed to work at applied for a non b (i dont have a work permit as yet). Apparently the process is non b viss then work visa. If I cancel the process of the non b will it convert back to the tourist visa I have because my tourist visa is still valid untill the 4th August that will get the my new company enough time to apply for a non b?

And on top the Non Immigrant B visa is the visa that allows you to work with a work permit, a Work Visa does not exist in Thailand.

You applied for a visa that you do not want to have, how difficult is it to understand you have to cancel your application and talk with Immigration about your stay. And after that with your new employer to start a new proces of application.

You can not have multiple visa application at multiple Immigration Offices and just to let you know, Immigration use a database so all offices know what is going on.
