TLDR : Answer Summary
The user has a 3-month Non-B visa and is waiting for documents related to their work permit. They are concerned about their visa status as the school may be looking for another teacher. Responses indicate that if the visa is company-specific, they will need to obtain a new one if they change schools; otherwise, they may be able to use the same visa. It's also important to check the visa's expiry date and take action based on whether they possess a valid work permit.

Look on the VISA itself and see if it is company specific <- meaning has the company that sponsored you for the visa written on it.

IF it does have the name of the company on it you cannot use it if you find a new job and will need to go get a new visa. If it doesn't have the name of the company on it you can use it if you find a new job.

This is an example of company specific Non-B visas issued both inside the country at the immigration office and outside the country at a thai consulate

yes, yes, I mean do I need to make a tourist visa first ? or I can ask for a new non b directly?

you cannot make a new Non-B inside the country, BUT you can take paperwork to a thai consulate in another country and apply for a new Non-B

ok Thank you.

when I will find a new one, can I make a new non b directly or I need to have another type of visa first ?

then you CANNOT use that visa to get a new job. You can stay until that 90 day stamp runs out if you want.

1. Your visa is good for three months. I would look at your "leave by" date that Thai immigration stampe in your passport.

2. You may need another non-b if (WHEN) you changed school. If the current school name is written on your current non-b, you can not use that not-b at a different school.

3. There shouldn't be any documents you need to ask from your current school if you leave.

Do you have a work permit? If you do not, then you are working illegally, and you can be fined. If you do not have a work permit, in my opinion, get your stuff tomorrow and leave, it's not worth the risk.

If you do have a work permit, you need to go to the labor office and cancel it

I thought it was possible to keep the visa with letter from school.....
