Is my extension of stay still valid after moving provinces and starting a new school without a work permit?

, you needed to GO cancel the extension of stay from the immigration office that issued it the minute you stopped working (the date your work permit was canceled).

Then you needed to leave the country either get a tourist visa OR a new entry stamp, get documentation from your new company and go apply for a NEW Non-B visa and a new work permit.

You CANNOT work legally until you do that.

Chris Isherwood Something else I just thought of. Is your license the five year license with a plastic card and certificate or is it a two year temporary license? If temporary that is also tied to the current school and not valid at any other school. If you don't have the five year license then you will need to get a new two year temporary based on the new school and you just wasted two years out of six years you can get temporary licenses before enrolling in a Master's of Education program or otherwise qualifying for the five year license (such as having a teaching credential from another country that is recognized by Khurusapha).

Simpel said, your Extension of Stay became invalid at the moment you left your employer. From that day on, you are in overstay.

Here's my advice:

1.the extension of stay for employment is attached to the employer.

2. You do not have a work permit so you don't need to cancel it.

3. How are you having an extension of stay without a work permit?

4. It should not matter if you have a teacher license or teacher license waiver. Remember, you can only have 5 waivers!
