Hello!

Any Singaporeans in this group?

I have some Visa questions :)

-I called the embassy yesterday and they told me that, in order to qualify for a non B (working) visa, my minimum salary offered has to be at least 45,000baht/month.

Anyone manage to get a visa with a lesser salary?

TLDR : Answer Summary
A Singaporean seeks advice on obtaining a Non-B (working) visa for Thailand, specifically regarding the salary requirement of 45,000 baht/month as told by the embassy. Other users provide insights about visa types for teachers, necessary documentation, and the importance of having a contract and work permit from a Thai school.

And ...

As a teacher do yourself a favor...

Get a teachers contract..

Get the WP3 Thai work permit in cooperation with your school employer...

Have your school contact the Thai Ed Ministry to get your name placed on a list of teachers managed by the Thai Foreign Ministry...

Make application for the Non B visa for teaching ...

The Thai Embassy will look at the approved list and issue you a Non B for teaching and a CoE to enter Thailand.

Without that you will not get the Non B teacher visa outside Thailand.

Thousands of teachers have entered Thailand by this process during COVID.

And its extremely difficult to obtain the Non B inside Thailand.

Good Luck..

You are asking in the wrong group...

Ask in the many teachers groups on Facebook.

I believe that's minimum wage for people from your country, UNLESS they are teachers. Are you a teacher?

Have your school talk to the consulate. I think there's a communication failure
