Greetings everyone,

I'm Lebanese passport holder and I have 1 year ED visa, After my last extension on my 9th month in bkk they told me I have to leave the country and do visa run at Laos, but since I'm not eligible to do this procedure I went back to Lebanon, and the school provided me with school papers. Now, my question is shall I leave before the date given on this yellow paper that it is posted? And what if I want to stay more? I called the Thai consulate in my country but they said they are not responsible and they will not answer my question and I'm trying to call the school but I know they won't answer because it's the king's death ceremony they are closed. I'm frustrated, panicking! I don't want to loose the visa and I cannot leave for family issues. Lack of informations from all sides.

I would be grateful if anyone can help and provide me some useful infos.

Thank you

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user, a Lebanese passport holder, is seeking advice about their current ED visa status after having to return to Lebanon. They are concerned about whether they need to leave Thailand before the date on the school-issued paper and what options they have to stay longer due to family issues. The response suggests that they need to apply for a new ED visa for a course starting soon but emphasizes that they are currently without a visa, relieving some concern about losing an existing one.

As I understand: You were in Thailand, studied Thai, had a 3 months ED visa, after that you stayed using Extension Of Stay, finished school, went back Lebanon and now have to apply for a new 3 months ED visa for a course starting Oct 27 2017 till Jan 26 2018. It is really up to you if you want to apply for the Visa and come to Thailand for do this course or stay in Lebanon due your family reasons. You can not loose the Visa because you do not have a Visa.

If they are open on 26th, but on your visa is an Enter before date. As long as you enter before that date your visa is valid and will give you 90 days of stay.

So if I entered bkk after Oct, 27 2017 I will not be rejected at the airport?
