Hi, Im currently on an ED visa which expires 6th March and my ED placement ends on April 14th and I was hoping to stay in Thailand till May. Does anyone have any recommendations for what I should do after my ED visa expires? Can I just get a tourist visa or do I have to get another ED visa till my placements over? Thanks

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is on an ED visa that expires on March 6, while their placement ends on April 14. They seek advice on options for staying in Thailand until May after their visa expires. Recommendations include obtaining documentation from their placement for an extension until April 14, followed by either obtaining a tourist visa or entering on a 30-day visa exempt entry after exiting Thailand.

You should be able to get documentation from where ever it is you're at placement and get an extension until April 14th.

Then you'd have to go out of the country and either get a tourist visa OR come in on a 30 day visa exempt entry to cover the time after that.

So you're an intern doing an internship?
