Hi,

I'm a Lebanese passport holder with a 1 year ED VISA, I'm already 8 months. The requirement is to leave to Laos and renew my visa in Vientiane. I have all the documents from my school but I still want to ask any advices from any expert or have already done this procedure. And, since I'm Lebanese, is it possible for me to renew my visa at Vientiane or I have to go back to my country?

So far, this group is the best!

Thanks in advance.

TLDR : Answer Summary
A Lebanese passport holder currently in Thailand with an 8-month ED visa is seeking advice on the renewal process in Vientiane, Laos, after receiving conflicting information about the possibility of renewing the visa there. Some comments suggest that Lebanese nationals may face restrictions on obtaining new visas from certain locations, including Laos.

I dont' think you can go to Lao or Malaysia to get a new ED visa. Your country is on the list of countries that cannot get visas for thailand at the consulates there
