What should I do about my 90-day reporting while holding a Non-O marriage visa if I need to leave Thailand urgently?

Hello, my situation:

- Non-O marriage visa holder (spouse is a foreign national working in Thailand)

- I have already gotten my first extension (stamped on my passport to last until 22 March 2022)

- my next 90 day report is due around 20 November.

I have a sick family member overseas who I need to visit urgently. I understand I will need a reentry permit to reenter thailand. What happens if I am not able to return before my 90 day reporting due date? What are the rules about reporting from overseas if I intend to return?

Many thanks.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The 90-day reporting requirement for non-O visa holders is void if you leave Thailand, as it only applies to individuals who are physically present in the country for 90 consecutive days. Therefore, if you have to leave due to an urgent family matter, you do not need to worry about the reporting requirement until you return to Thailand.

90 day report is you reporting being in Thailand for 90 consecutive days, leave Thailand and the requirement is void. Upon return you will commence reporting again if you stay 90 days.

Not a problem...when you leave it ends the 90 day report requirement as you are not in Thailand.

The 90 days start counting when you enter Thailand.
