What should I consider when applying for a DTV visa in Thailand with a freelance business?

Hello - DTV walk in appointment in Laos coming up and

I'm looking for feedback. For what? For some draft-answers for the application form. There are some points where I struggle a bit.

Recently I paid for a certified 8 month Muay Thai course. And I have proof of last 3 months 500k in bank account.

It would be so nice if I could get some insights/ feedback to my draft:

--Current Occupation / ອາຊີບປະຈơບັນ (specify position and employer)

My struggle: Currently nothing.. I live off of savings and also my father gave me some resources good for the next few month, one off.

What I actually do is: Preparing to start a small remote business/ freelancer structure with no dealings with Thailand. Customers will be businesses from UK/ Ireland/ Germany mostly.

Any advice here about how to best answer that question?! (my main concern). I am an honest guy that loves Thailand seriously - and I also will of course do the soft power activity - Muay Thai. So how can I deal with that question?

--TEL / EMAIL

Thai TEL OK - or better a EU/ foreign phone number?

--Proposed Address in Thailand

I rent a condo in BKK until March 2025. I will write this address..Do I need to attach proof?

--Date of Arrival in Thailand

22th November - is this too soon?!

--Traveling by

Don't know yet. Laos with bus to Udom and then plane probably.

What would you write here?

--Duration of Stay in Thailand

I don't know. I plan to travel to Malaysia in 2 - 3 months for 2-3 weeks.. OR: can I write sth. like: "Duration of stay as per DTV visa requirements, if DTV visa granted (less than 180 days per [each] entry)" ? :)

What did you guys write here?

--Name and Contact of Guarantor in Thailand

Can this be blank? - If not I would write sb. from the Muay Thai school. Even though of course it's not a guarantor. I'd assume this is a question for another type of Visa.

--Name and Contact of Guarantor in Lao PDR

Can this be blank? - If not I would write name of hostel owner.

Thanks - your input/ feedback is highly appreciated.

mate if you can elaborate a little bit more - would be fun.

I used the FAQ tool of this site, with following data: a) ordinary passport b) Visa Type: DTV c) Soft Power.

== Result: Your Visa Type is DTV

I don't want to sigh 😔 but ...

Just answer the questions logically. If you aren't working then say so, or put N/A. Write a brief cover letter outlining your plans. Of course put your Thai number/contact info. If you plan to go abroad in 3 months then say so. Leave guarantor blank or put the muai Thai gym etc etc. Put entering by land. If they want proof of your Thai address they will ask for it. Your proposed entry date is your proposed entry date.
