I'm running out my first non-b on May 10th (entered 13th November and got one 90 day extension as I was unable to travel due health problems) and the plan was to to apply for one year non-b in Kota Bharu on that date. My wp is still valid till August.

What are my options now as entering Malaysia is a bit tricky? Possible to extend my current one without leaving the country?

If so then how many days?

Thanks in advance.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking advice on extending their Non-B visa in Thailand, as their first Non-B visa expires on May 10th, with a valid work permit until August. They inquire about the possibility of extending their visa without leaving the country and how many additional days they could obtain, while facing challenges related to entering Malaysia.

surely your work permit became invalid when you changed from non-b to a medical extension? you are not allowed to work on a medical extension.

you could certainly go back to your country, and apply for the Non-B there from the thai consulate before you come back

Also what is the procedure if I decide go back to Finland for few months as there is no customers at the moment? Is it possible to apply for non-b over there using my current wp?

you either meet the requirements in country and apply for a year extension at the immigration office or you get the "free amnesty until the 30th" and see when they can get the borders open so you can bounce again.

those are the options for someone on a year-long, multi-entry Non-B

You said you got a 90 day "unable to travel due to medical reasons" you might try to see if who ever got you that extension can do it again.

Thanks but this I already knew. The question was about whether it is possible to get an extension inside the country and for how long in this case.

You can extend it in Phuket without leaving Thailand, but your company or sponsoring company paper work must be in order with social security, audits, etc. There must be 4 staff in social security.... And you have to consult your lawyer because the extension visa is expensive. If you got the money, then no problem. It is recommended to submit papers one week before the expiry.
