A couple of days ago I renewed my Non-Imm O for the 2nd year. I got a letter from the bank, however, it was the one for when first applying. I needed a statement for the previous 12 months. Being told by the Imm officer I would need to go to the main Bangkok Bank in Silom and apply, I thought, Oh no!. Instead I went to the bank downstairs in CW and spoke with them. I was informed by a very helpful staff, I could submit a request on my phone App and get it sent to me in 5 minutes. Print it, get it stamped by the bank. Problem solved. I told the Imm. Officer. Who then told others. Hope this helps others.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The author recently renewed their Non-Immigrant O visa for the second year but initially received the wrong bank statement. After visiting a local bank, they discovered they could quickly request a 12-month statement through the bank's mobile app, which helped with the visa renewal process. Other commenters shared their experiences regarding obtaining bank statements from Bangkok Bank and other banks, highlighting variations in policy and efficiency based on location.

Jomthein - 1. Update you bank book. 2.. Get a bank letter with the balance outlined (same 1st, 2nd application doc).. 3. YOU make a photocopy of your bank book for all transactions for past 12 months, and the front page (account number).

Bangkok Bank you can ask via their application a 12 months statement for a saving account and send via email within minutes.

Unfortunately you can not do it for a fixed account. Therfore you need to ask it at your branch and it will be send by email the next 3 days (cost 100 bahts).

Bangkok Bank Phuket did the same for me ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™

I'm hoping it is also done in Nakhon Phanom for monthly payments. My BB bank book shows the 12 monthly transfers and ss ftt and so does the comprehensive statement obtained from the app. It seems rather odd anything else is required.

However, Krungsri will give statements and letter in just a few minutes for 200baht and not even at the branch I opened the account at!

KTB and SCB bank give statements and letter straight away for a 200 baht fee

The bank still has to rubber stamp your statement. That's where the 200bht comes from.

Glad that worked, it is unusual for a bank to stamp documents you can download from the app. I think that bank in the basement is "not typical" because they are in the building that immigrations is in.

You're lucky they did that because normally it can take several days to get the year transaction detail report (especially from Bangkok Bank) and you will need that EVERY time you go to get an extension so they can see the balance thru the year.

Glad it worked,

People this is ONLY for Bangkok Bank and ONLY at Chaengwattana immigrations

yep, usually takes them so many days to retrieve the data

usually bangkok bank do a data run every day around lunchtime, it's the posting it to the branch that takes the time. The form you fill out to request the statement has an email field and you can get it emailed to yourself (but they won't email to the branch directly). Email usually arrives a little after lunch the day after you request it, the branch will usually then let you forward the email to them, print it out and stamp it. At least in my experience.

I did do mine in the morning. As the Bangkok Bank staff, the one who knew, showed me in the App where is say:

Request an Account Statement, which I did receive in a few minutes.

yes you get that one quickly but it doesn't always cover the dates required by immigration

I've had bangkok bank stamp a statement from the app here in Sa Kaeo as well, but they had lost the statements I ordered. Unfortunately immigration wouldn't accept it as there was a few days from the month prior to the start date not covered. When you download from the app it gives a 12 month statement with the month you request it being month 12 (even if part way through the month, it doesn't do it date to date) so they were doubly lucky.

yes. It's not full 12 months on the app. Which is really stupid.

I guess one could retrieve it some months early and then get a 3 months for current. And bankbook copy.

They wanted 3 months when i just updated to new passport, i didn't have the bankbook with me, bank at cw couldn't help.

In the end a printout of 3 months from app to the right moment was accepted at the immigration.

Not sure you can count on that, or anything though. Lol
