I've just newly joined the group...and arrived to Thailand in May with 60 days Tourist visa.
I have a few questions please. I found this on Immigration website. It is the current update info, right?
May I please know how many days in advance should I go to the immigration to apply for an extension?
And do I go to Counter K mentioned in the attached photo please?
This is my first time extending Tourist visa, so, I'm sorry if I'm troubling you with my questions...
Thank you very much in advance for your kind help!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking guidance on extending their 60-day tourist visa in Thailand, specifically regarding when to apply and which immigration counter to visit. It is noted that extensions should be applied for when there are around 30 days or less remaining on the current visa. The correct immigration office for applying in Bangkok is the Chaeng Wattana Government Complex, at counter J, not counter K, which is reserved for visa-exempt entries. Additionally, having a TM30 receipt is generally recommended but not always required for tourism extensions.
In Bangkok, you go to the immigration office at Chaengwattana, government complex Building B, counter J to apply for a tourism extension for 30 days when you have 45 days or less remaining with your current stamp, your extension will be added so you wouldn't lose any days of your stay. Bangkok doesn't ask for TM 30 receipt for tourism extension usually, but if you have, bring it.
