Hey - does anyone here have experience of being on non-o visa based on dependency of foreign spouse who legally works here?
Questions are based on is applying for the non-o smooth? Does it gets scrutinised by immigration officers upon entering the country? Would me and my husband have to travel together all the time? And lastly are extensions of stay based on this visa up to a year long or would we have to keep extending every 90 days?
Thanks :)
TLDR : Answer Summary
The NON-O visa for those dependent on a foreign spouse who works in Thailand can typically be applied for at a Thai consulate outside the country. Once issued, it should not cause issues upon entry, as it is a valid visa. You do not need to travel with your spouse at all times. Extensions of stay are possible and will align with your spouse’s visa extension dates.
