Hi, am in the process of selling up in the UK, and am hoping (pending no hiccups for house sale) to move to Thailand (Khon Kaen) to be with my wife and kids end of august/beginning of September.

What’s the process to apply for a marriage visa? I already have the 400k baht in a Thai bank account in my name. We have a house (in wife’s name, where we will reside).οΏΌ

I read somewhere to apply for a 60 day tourist visa first?

Any detailed help would be appreciated..

Thanks πŸ™πŸ½πŸ˜€

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking detailed help on applying for a marriage visa to move to Thailand and has already set up necessary finances. They inquire whether it's best to apply for a 60-day tourist visa first. A comment suggests applying for a NON-O marriage visa via eVisa and then seeking an extension after arriving in Thailand.

Or you also can apply for non-o marriage on eVisa to enter Thailand, then apply for extension once you settled in Thailand
