TLDR : Answer Summary
To obtain a retirement visa in Thailand, you should first enter on a visa exempt or tourist visa, ideally with a Non O visa in mind. The initial cost for the Non O visa application is approximately 2,000 baht, and for the one-year extension, it is about 1,900 baht. You need to transfer 800k baht to a Thai bank account, maintain it for at least two months before applying for your extension, and keep the balance above 400k for the remainder of the year. Additionally, applicants must be at least 50 years old.

Yes, I don't have Non O visa, and bank statement in thailand, also don't have 800 k amount to open bank a/c. but i am 50 plus. can i get visa? or what's its charges and process time?
Sure you can use a agent. Thats going to cost you money. Then you also need enough money for your living for the year as well. Including your agents fee for the following year.
it was 15k baht last year. Reach out to TVC via messenger and they will respond with exact cost depending on your situation. Good luck!

Assuming you don’t already have a Non O visa you’d enter on a visa exempt or tourist visa. With at least 21 days left on that stamp you’d apply for a Non O in country provided you have managed to open a bank account and transferred 800k from overseas (unless your embassy issues income affidavits). Cost is 2,000 baht.
Once on that and it’s winding down you apply for a year extension with the 800k being in the bank for at least 2 months. You’d need to keep it in after for 3 months and then the balance not go below 400k for the rest of the year. Cost is 1,900 baht.
To get the next extension it would need to be back to 800k 2 months before applying.
