Hey Everyone,
I'd like to submit an update for my visa process given the amount of comments my original post drew in.
Application for Non-B and Non-O dependent
1. Entered Bangkok smoothly on a visa exempt (30-day) with a ticket out to Laos (never asked for) two days later.
2. Upon arrival in Laos, successful application of Non-B AND, would you guess, Non-O dependent visa simultaneously (right..?). Visas take two working days and were collected today without any issue.
- only our marriage certificate was asked for
- visa fee of 2,000 Baht each.
- employer documents
3. Spend 6 nights enjoying Vientiane, Laos and stayed at La Seine Hotel (strongly recommend).
I fully appreciate all the advice and opinions heard on this forum.
One lesson I learnt: everyone's case is different and one should not blindly accept all comments as truth.
Rather, take in all in. Then proceed to follow your gut based on your own research.
Off to a new adventure in Thailand.
Thanks again!
