What are the current requirements and processes for obtaining a Thai Non-O visa based on marriage?
Greeting!
Today I got a ME Non-O visa (based on marriage) in Savannakhet, Laos.
I don't know if that rule used to apply, but when entering and leaving Laos, you pay 100 baht at the border control.
Even though I duly had an E-Visa for Laos, it does not exempt you from payment. All foreigners pay 100 baht.
The procedure for applying for a (Thai) visa at the consulate is straight forward and everything is completed extremely quickly if you have all the necessary documents. The identical documentation requirements as before still apply.

Just for added clarity it costs 5000B and there are no financial requirements, no appointment necessary, drop off am day 1 and pick up pm day 2.
