Greeting!
Today I got a ME Non-O visa (based on marriage) in Savannakhet, Laos.
I don't know if that rule used to apply, but when entering and leaving Laos, you pay 100 baht at the border control.
Even though I duly had an E-Visa for Laos, it does not exempt you from payment. All foreigners pay 100 baht.
The procedure for applying for a (Thai) visa at the consulate is straight forward and everything is completed extremely quickly if you have all the necessary documents. The identical documentation requirements as before still apply.
If anyone has additional questions, feel free to do so in the comments.
I want to thank the help and support of the people in this group for all the doubts I had.
Cheers!
