appreciate all the guidance provided by the group as i (like many) find information challenging.

During the c-19 era my 90 day expired so i will be heading to immigration to update that (tm-45) and also obtain a proof of residence letter (awaiting tm-30 from landlord) to obtain thai driver license.

my question however is:

1. i came into thailand (4 july2019) with a one year non-imm, O-A, multiple entry visa (obtained in la cal.)

2. i left country for a trip (27 dec 2019).

3. when i returned (30 dec 2019) immigration stamped me in for another year (until 28 dec 2020).

does this seem correct or is it in error and i should resolve during this next visit to immigration?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user seeks clarification on their Non-Immigrant O-A visa status after re-entering Thailand. They entered Thailand on a one-year multiple entry Non-Immigrant O-A visa, left for a short trip, and returned with an immigration stamp extending their stay until December 2020. A community member confirmed that this extension is correct according to the visa rules.

That is correct. You have the Non Immigrant O-A visa and that gives you 1 year of stay on each entry made before the valid until date on the visa

Don Far You can only apply for this visa at your country of residence,.

If you do not like to leave Thailand you can apply for the 1 year Extension of Stay at your local immigration Office in the period from 28 Nov until 27 Dec.

Don Far. You apply for a one year extension off the OA. You will need 800k in the bank and OA insurance.
