Hi, I need to leave Bangkok next week and get a Thailand Tourist Visa. Just wondering whats the fastest place to go? I was thinking of going to Phnom Penh as I got a Thailand Tourist Visa there about five years ago and used V Silk Travel to do it, but processing time seems to have gone from three days to five working days. Thanks.

Both the Embassy and Consulate in Laos are next working day pick-up. The Embassy requires an appointment but the Consulate is walk-in.

In Phnom Penh it's 3 working days and it's very easy to fill out the form and hand in and pick up yourself. The times for handing in and picking up are different. 9-11am for handing in I think. 40$ for 2 month tourist visa.

The websites of each consulate should have the timeline. I think both of the ones in Laos are 2-3 days but the websites should have confirmation
