Which Southeast and South Asian embassies are best for DTV applications?
Hi, I am wondering which embassies or consulates in Southeast Asia and South Asia are considered the most favourable when it comes to DTV applications. I think I can meet the criteria but rather not have to worry about it. Sri Lanka is one place I’d like to visit, but I’ve seen a few mixed reports on posts here. Thanks.

Laos and hanoi are probably the best right now. Its all about your documentation.
If you meet the requirements, can document good and send a clear, easy to read application you should have nothing to worry about.
I have helped several people in this group with this before and never had anyone not get approved. Its all about the documentation.

Most people avoid the place but its quite a nice city. I am guessing that they get very few applications unlike Hanoi and assuming that they might process faster there. Downside is that if you need additional documents getting stuff sent there is hard so you must arrive with everything.Anyway awaiting to hear from anyone who has applied there recently and their experience.

Vietnam can take around 5-10 business days, Laos 10 - 20 business days depending on date of interview.Peter ********

I mean once you pay the 10k in person you have to wait about 10 days to get your appointment. (But it could be faster or longer just depending on the amount of people waiting for an appointment.)Oliver *****
