Went as instructed to soi 5 immigration Jomtiem due to under consideration stamp wanting to close the loop with second stamp for extension using embassy letter,given a blue ticket told to come back next week and no reason given.

I'm not seeing the visa question, but if you are told to return back on a certain date by the immigration office, and they give you a queue number, then that's what you'll do.
