What is the current process for Colombians to obtain a visa for Thailand after COVID-19?
Hello! Coming from Colombia, with a colombian passport. it looks like the passport needs to be mailed to thailand to get a visa put in the passport. has that changes since covid? the passport arrives to colombia in one week, and planned on going over in two weeks to thailand, however it seems that may not be possible now. has anyone traveled from colombia or have any insight?
Answer summary
Colombian passport holders must apply for a tourist visa before traveling to Thailand, as they are not eligible for visa exemption or visa on arrival options. The visa should be obtained through the eVisa online application system, which provides a PDF confirmation that must be presented upon arrival. There is no need to mail the passport for visa issuance, as the process is done electronically.

Columbianz NEED to get a visa before they wing their way to thailand,
you can't get in on the free visa exempt/visa waiver entry and you can't BUY a visa on arrival when you show up here
NOR
can you by a visa on arrival from the eVisa on arrival link.
Columbia is NOT one of the 17 countries that buy VOA
You MUST apply for at least a TOURIST visa to thailand using the eVisa website.
it's all done online, they'll send you a PDF by email that is the visa, you need that approved before you come here
OR
you're not gonna get in to thailand
