Hi everyone, we are planning to apply for Thai tourist visas in Saigon and wondering if there are any restrictions for Colombian citizens? Also, what is the duration for Colombians, we have read that it's 90-days.

We have tried calling/e-mailing the consulate, but haven't had any luck.

TLDR : Answer Summary
Colombian citizens can apply for a Thai tourist visa in Saigon without any specific nationality restrictions. The standard tourist visa is valid for 90 days, granting an initial entry stamp of 60 days upon arrival in Thailand, which can be extended for an additional 30 days at an immigration office for a fee. It is advisable to apply for the visa in advance.

Mike Swiggy you have several helpful replies. Good luck...just submit the requirements for the Tourist Visa morning first day, pick afternoon next day.

I was there at the consulate in Saigon a couple of weeks ago & found it to be one of the easiest places to procure a Thai visa in the entire region.

My mother is Colombian too.

It looks like there are no restrictions on getting a tourist visa from your country. However, what is your visa history here?

There is no additional restriction on the nationality/passport. If you can get the visa, you get the same terms. SETV is 60 days and can be extended for an additional 30 days at immigration for 1,900 thb. Need to get the visa in advance of arrival

ALL tourist visas are valid for 90 days <-meaning once it's in your passport you have 90 days to ENTER thailand and then when you do enter, you'll get stamped in for 60 days like everyone on a tourist visa does.
