ORIGINAL POSTER
Hi,

Has anyone managed to get back to Thailand from the UK in the past few weeks? I have a work permit and teach in BKK.

All of my documents have been submitted to the Thai embassy to obtain the certificate to get back and I am now waiting.

I was just wondering if anyone knows the turnaround time and what the quarantine procedure was like.

Thanks in advance

I have spoken to the MFA and they had received my application for a certificate of entry. They told me two weeks until a decision.

My friend got back June 8th. She had to leave her kids in the UK. Personally I think she has the elite visa because she was fuzzy on the details on her return. Turn around is supposedly 1-2 weeks.

Well yes you will need to have flight leaving from where you are from and flying or connecting to Thailand. However, it is official WP holders can return if they meet requirements and local Embassy grants permission. It would seem yours does not

It ks very limited opening and you have a lot of hoops to jump through but Work Permit holders and those with paperwork to get one csm come in. Might be costly too unless your company is funding it.

Qatar is one from Europe. Not many others I know of. I am going to a leaving party tomorrow for our CFO. He was meant to leave months ago but is stuck. The new CFO cannot get in either.

You have to contwct Embassy where you are and ask permission. You neqd a fot to fly certificate and 100k USD health imsurance. You need to do 14 day quarantine in Thailand when you arrive at own cost. Circa 40k THB to 100k
