Let me try again... I have a work permit for Thailand and still able to return with a work permit for now. I will need a health certificate to enter. Has anyone completed this process successfully?

Answer summary

A user inquired about the requirements for re-entering Thailand with a work permit during the pandemic, particularly focusing on health certification. Comments suggest that a 'Fit to Fly' certificate and COVID-19 insurance are needed, although the specifics seem to depend on airline policy. Community members recommend checking with airlines for their requirements as they are responsible for ensuring compliance before check-in.

We went to our GP and asked for a blood test for COVID19. Blood tests usual take 24 hours and then need to be without 72 hours for Thailand.

If I understand correctly from this page, you need work permit and "Fit to Fly" certificate. But it's really up to the airline whether they let you on the flight or not, so contact them and ask them what you need.

Good luck.

Too soon to know.

Check with your airline as they will not allow to to check-in without needed requirements.

It doesn't say anything about any kind of certificate required for WP holders entering the country, only for transit or Thai nationals. Something is missing here.

@Ellie ******

. . . . Passengers boarding a flight to Thailand in their home country "must have a letter from the Embassy with the fit-for-fly certificate" ?? 😳😳. . . . the mind boggles! . . . . . . . . WHICH Embassy? In their home country there would be a Thai Embassy, but since WHEN do THEY and their staff perform medical checks?

It's the airlines who have been given the task of checking the medical report and the insurance. Check with your airline

It came into play 18 hours ago, I guess you have to find out yourself. Or hope that one of our members is working in Thailand and met the requirements to enter today.
