Has the visa duration changed for re-entering Thailand after a border crossing?
Can anybody help awnser this please,
Last time I was in Thailand I got 30 days visa on arrival I then travelled to Malaysia when I re entered Thailand I got 14 days has this changed?

There is a much better and cheaper way to do it.

It is cheaper than 30 day visaexcempt + 30 day extension,
You don’t need a onward ticket in the 30 day visa excempt,
Then you don’t have to use holiday time to travel to a immigration office, waitingtime, but can apply from the comfort of your home.

Not sure where your citizenship is, but not all countries get a visa exempt. If you need visa on arrival you probably were lucky to get the 30 days, it was a special to promote travel, valid until 31st march, after that dat it went back to the usual 15 days.

Maybe a dozen years ago, I entered Thailand visa exemption from US. 30 day stamp. While in Chiang Rai, we crossed into Myanmar for a flea market. Burmese IO’s held my passport at the desk. Stepped back into Thailand and got stamped 14 days, which superseded the 17 days that remained on my original entry.

you fly in get 30 days exempt. Go to immigration extend 30 days = 60. Then go Cambodia come back get 30 days plus can extend again. Can then fly KL if you want come back another 30 days plus extensionDebbie *******

so I get 30 days from start at airport then if I go Cambodia I get another 30 days coming back in by land, then if I decide to go KL will I get another 30 days re entering Thailand? (Sorry to be a pain)Wayne *********
