I made it to Bangkok.

Thanks for your previous answers helping me get here.

Just wanted to let you know as I came from India with US passport, I was not asked for the 20k BHT (even though they can ask, and we did have it with us just in case). When we got to immigration we were asked zero questions. Very simple process and glad we didn't have to wait in the Visa on arrival line as we are lucky with being visa exempt.

Thanks again.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user successfully arrived in Bangkok from India with a US passport, experiencing a straightforward immigration process without being asked for the required 20,000 BHT. They appreciated the lack of questions at immigration, benefiting from the visa exemption, and avoided the lengthy Visa on Arrival line.
