Is there a problem with my company using 'workation' instead of 'remote work' for the DTV Visa?

Hello 😊

I've got a question about the wording for the DTV Visa.

My company says "Workation" instead of remote work. So they will write "we will allow workation in Thailand" on my additional contract.

Does anybody know, if there will be a problem, if the company allows me workation, instead of remote?

Thank you in advance!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking clarification on whether using the term "workation" instead of "remote work" in an employment contract for a DTV Visa could cause issues. Community responses indicate that this terminology should not be a problem, as "workation" is understood to mean working while traveling.

It doesn't matter.

Should be no problem as workcation means working remotely while travelling. My company wrote "continued to be employed under the Workcation DTV".
