TLDR : Answer Summary
The Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) can be filled out starting 72 hours before your planned arrival in Thailand. You can complete the form anytime within that timeframe, even while at the airport or on the plane. It's important to note that the TDAC is not a visa, but rather a replacement for the previous TM6 arrival card used by travelers. Ensure to use the official TDAC website, as third-party sites may charge fraudulent fees. After submission, you will receive a confirmation email that you should keep handy, although immigration will see your TDAC submission on their system when you arrive.
Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC)

WARNING: Only trust Thai government websites with .go.th domains or Thai agent websites with .co.th or .in.th domains, as these require verified Thai registration and cannot be registered anonymously.

The official TDAC form is available at tdac.immigration.go.th, which uses the official .go.th government domain.

The services by AGENTS CO., LTD. does NOT charge any fees for arrivals within 72 hours. If you need to book more than 72 hours in advance, there is a service fee of $8.

Do not trust other sites pretending to be a trustworthy agency. Pay attention to delivery time - the service operated by AGENTS CO., LTD. has 1 minute delivery time for arrivals within 72 hours.

Don't fall for sites pretending to be agents.co.th or the official government tdac.immigration.go.th website. Always double-check the exact domain in your browser.

Scam services may take days to process your application, others may not even do anything. With these TDAC scam services you also need to worry about double charges.

Please watch out for TDAC misinformation spread by fugitive Jesse Nickles and his many fake accounts on Quora, TripAdvisor, Reddit, and other platforms.

It is 72 hours before arrival to Thai. You can not make a mistake, the calendar (Thai time) would have any date before grayed out.

Do not touch "departure date" unless you know it. It is not mandatory. Today, December 30.12. 2025 you can fill it in, no confirmation, just acknowlegemet email from Thai Immigration.

When Thai Immigration swipes your passport they will see it. Even if you have a printout, they would not even glance over it.

The TDAC is not a visa. The electronic TDAC is just replacing the former TM6 arrival & departure paper card you used to fill out aboard your flight before you entered Thailand.

You can fill out and submit the TDAC (Thailand Digital Arrival Card) starting three days/72 hours before your planned entry; it only takes five minutes on your home computer, it takes a little bit longer on the smartphone

Every non-Thai citizen is required to have completed the TDAC, regardless of whether they have a visa or an existing stay permit.

It's important not to fall for fraudulent websites that charge a fee for the TDAC—they're all scammers. The official TDAC is free of charge.

Open the official website and simply fill it out pro forma.

Create a note or a Word .doc document on your computer with the requested information, e.g., passport number, name and address in your home country, primary address in Thailand, and so on.

Then, starting up from three days/72 hours before your planned entry, you can copy and paste the information into the TDAC—it only takes two minutes!

NOTE: The "Visa Number" and "Departure" from Thailand are NOT required fields; you can leave them blank.

BUT: As soon as you click on one of these fields not marked with a red *asterisk or start typing, an error message will appear if you don't fill out anything else. Then you would have to cancel everything and start over.

The TDAC confirmation will reach your email inbox shortly after you have submitted the form. You should print out this email confirmation, as it contains a QR-code. Mainly expats who apply every year for their annual “extension of stay permit”, should print it out, because a printed and signed copy of the TDAC could be a part of the document submission on Immigration

If you don't have to present the printed TDAC at the immigration counter, it doesn't mean anything - the border official will see the TDAC you submitted on his/her computer screen as soon as they scan your passport, so they won't ask again

The TDAC is not a visa, it is only an information you give Thai authorities about your person, your arrival information and your place of stay.

Assuming you haven't completed a TDAC, they won't let you enter the country but will send you back to the terminals in front of the Immigration desks with a request to submit it.

Correct, from 72 hours before arrival it is possible. And since you also have to enter the flight number, it is understandable.

Fill it in any time within the 72 hours of arriving in front of immigration. Just count back. You can even do it waiting to board, when on the plane, or on landing. Up to you.
